What’s the difference between possibility and probability?

Possibility means that something is possible or is not possible. it’s either yes or no. On the other hand, Probability has to do with math. it’s either 0 because it has not happen yet, or is more than 0 because it happened.

For example, what’s the possibility that you are going to get home and find $2 million dollars right there on the table? Even though that event is unlikely to happen because the chance are so low, It’s still possible.

Even if you have not see it happen, it’s still possible. For example, There are humans that have a lot of financial wealth. They can choose to do what ever they please with their money. One of them might decide to leave 2 million dollars to someone they have never met.

That someone that they have never met could be you.

Probability

Similar example, what’s the probability that you are going to get home and find $2 million dollars right there on the table? If this has not happen to you yet, then the probability is 0.

Therefore, as one event happens, the probability increases. If it has not happen yet then the probability is 0.
