Paid traffic vs organic traffic which one is better?
Organic traffic vs paid traffic which on is better? Some people think that organic traffic is better or other people think that paid traffic better but this is the reality if you are starting out.
Organic traffic
Organic traffic when you create content, whether it’s video, blog or podcast. This content that you create attract visitors to your platform. Which in turn allow you to monetize your platform with all the traffic that you get.
The problem with organic traffic is that it can take time to build up, you can go for months or oven years without seeing a single dime.
Because of this many people give up on organic traffic before they can see the benefits.
The pro is that in the long run , you build trust and is cheap money wise.
Paid traffic
Paid traffic is when you use money to attract visitors. You pay for advertisement. So the people that are creating the organic content send visitors to your for money. This is done with platform acting as middle man, platform like YouTube ads, google ads, Bing ads, Facebook ads, etc
The problem with this is that is could be quite expensive.
The pro with this is that you can start making money right away from day one. You can spend $10 to $100 to find a wining campaign, once you find a wining one, you scale that to the moon. Because if you put $1 to get back $2 then you spend as much money as you can because you’re being profitable.
Final Thoughts
If I were starting from the beginning, I’ll go with paid traffic first and organic traffic as a backup.
The reason for this is that if you learn paid traffic, you can literally print money. Also you can create a piece of content send paid traffic there, while organific traffic build up, you are making money and organic traffic build up faster since some of the people that you get though paid traffic will return because now there are aware of you.
Of course, if you are going to do paid traffic, I hope that you are doing email marketing otherwise you might be throwing away money
