What’s the difference between broth and soup?
Broth is made with boiled water with bones, meat and/or vegetables. The bones is very important, the point of boiling the water is to remove the minerals/nutrients from the bones. That’s why things like chicken broth, and others are high in minerals, nutrients and vitamins.
Soup on the other hand, can be made without boiling the water.
However, you can boiled the same ingredients, such as bone, meat and vegetables and some people call the stock while others call it broth while some others call it soup.
In general I would say that stocks is thicker, follow by broth being less thicker, follow by soup being lighter.
