Your body and you is not the same thing

The body and you is not the same thing. There is this individual that wants to quit drinking soda for the longest. This individual says today is the day that the soda drinking stop, no more soda for this person.

This person says that is quitting cold turnkey today.

Now, this person is aware that is not drinking soda no more but the body is not aware that there would be no more soda yet.

What’s going to happen is the body is going to become aware by showing one or more symptoms such has cravings, headaches, anxiety, dizziness, fatigue, depression, and the list could go on, it just going to be something negative.

Depending on the level of addiction, the negative symptoms could be mild or they could be really strong.

So strong that this person completely forget that is not suppose to drink soda no more or the negative symptoms are so strong that the person can’t think of anything else but drinking soda and just give in.

Solution

The solution for this negative symptoms is to know that they may last one day or a few days. So is wise to become prepare to last those few days.

How to become prepare?

One way is to get your favorite non-sugar food. Maybe a variety of them to last you a few days. The point is that whatever you do , you don’t want to get hungry.

Have you ever eaten a piece of fried meat for example it tasted so good that you kept eating and after a while your stomach is so full that you can’t eat anymore?

Well, eating like that is not good either, however, to prevent the soda craving you need to be full enough that body doesn’t want to eat any else.

Also you ought to drink as much water as possible, so you can get those toxins out of you body.

and do not forget to get a lot of rest.

Why do it this way?

Two reason you ought to do it this way. If your body has being using sugar as an energy source it need time to start to recalibrate its energy source.

Also, if you try to stop eating sweet and try something else like to start eating healthy at the same time, most likely is going to be detrimental for the simple reason that you are going against your habits.

In a fight between your willpower and your habits. 99.99 percent of the time, it appears that the habits will win.

So by eating your favorite non-sugary food you are enjoying the process. we tend to gravitate toward pleasure and avoid pain.

If you want to stop your soda addiction, for a few days just don’t get hungry. Eat your favorite no sugary foods, drink lot of water and get a lot of rest.
