What’s dopamine
Dopamine is a type of neurotransmitter. Your nervous system use the dopamine that your body make to send message between cells. You can think of dopamine as a chemical reward for doing something. Some people call it the happy hormone.
Example
When you eat a pleasurable food, your body release dopamine. A reward system is created so that you do it again. You do it again, since the brain associate the release of dopamine with something pleasurable.
