Daily journaling is the act of documenting what you doing in your life everyday. It has many benefits such as financial benefits, physical benefits and mental benefits. Yet hardly any one does it.

Many people think that journaling is extremely hard. For some people it could be hard. But the reality is that it doesn’t has to be.

Some people think that you have to be reflecting on your life and that you have to be creative so that you can create and come out with new ideas. That could definitely help but you don’t need to do that.

Document

You just need to Document. That’s right. Whatever you decided to do or not do, time is still going to pass by.

You just need to start documenting what comes to your mind or whatever you are doing on a daily basic.

That’s it.

As time passes by, you brain is going to create new cell, it’s going to create new pathway that will allow you to naturally write things down.

Type of Journaling

You can do journaling by writing content down that comes to mind, like writing a blog.

You can do journaling by video, such as uploading video content to a platform of your liking.

You can do journaling by doing podcast, such as audio content.

You can also do private journaling, And not share it with anyone. Just keep in mind that a secret of more than one person is no secret. And that journal is like one person because any one can find your journal and read it.

The only secret that is safe is when it’s in your mind and only one person knows it.

Financial benefits

You can make money from your journaling!

People go to the internet all the time to find information, to buy things, to entertain themselves, to do a multitude of things. Whatever they decide to do, they do it by watching, listening or reading something online.

When you share your journaling with the masses, there are going to be people that are going to get interested in your journaling. As you share more of your documentation, the more people you get. Eventually, you would naturally build an audience.

How can you make money out of this?

There are many businesses that want to sell their products or services for a profit. They are many people that wants to buy thing. The businesses need people to be able to buy things and the people wants business to sell what they desire.

Guess what? Thanks to your daily journaling, now you have an audience.

Some of the people that are reading your journaling might see an ad of something that they have being wanting to buy. If they go and buy it, you’ll get a commission from the business at no extra cost to the customer because that’s one extra sell that the business would had not gotten otherwise.

It’s call affiliate marketing.

Basically, you make money by promoting other’s people product or services. You can promote them directly like you can do a review or you can promote them indirectly like you can do your own thing and just put an ad or a link to it.

You can also create your own product or service.

You can accept donations.

You can start a paid membership

You can monetize access to your our email list ( although, I do not recommend this one)

You can monetize a skill that you have expertise with.

Physical benefits

You get physical benefits from journaling. Whether you are writing things down, whether you are creating videos or podcasting.

The act of doing these things require time and energy. If I were to rank them, in general videos use the most energy, follow by podcasting, follow by writing.

One thing to notice, if you do a video, you can convert that video into a podcast or into a blog post or both.

Mental benefits

There are mental benefits to journaling. It helps improve your mood. As you do journaling, naturally you learn to prioritize things. It’s helps you solve problems.

One main thing that you may start to notice is that it helps you understand yourself better. Since you learn to understand yourself better, you have more control on what you like and dislike.

It calm the mind down. The mind is quite complex and it has so many thoughts. By you writing it down, it’s like you are taking that thought out of your head and bringing it into the real word.

So the mind has one less thought to stress about.

And once again it doesn’t have to be written. it could be video or podcast.

A thought on how to start journaling

Journaling is simple and strait forward. You can document or you can just set certain task.

Example:

It could be any number you want. It could be from one to whatever number you want. I’m just picking 3 things for this example.

You can write down 3 things that you are grateful every day in the morning. Like you can be grateful of drinking water, having a bed, having a computer.

You can write down 3 things that would make your day an amazing day. Like you write down that you are going to be sitting strait, breathing better and stretching.

You see, once you done something that is beneficial to you, you are rewarding yourself. Because you are getting a reward you are most likely to do it again.

At night, you can write 3 things that went well that day. You can also write 3 things that you are going to be improving tomorrow.

Finally, rate yourself. What you have done today, did it improved your life or not.

or you can rate yourself by comparing if you are median, below median or above median on a particular skill.

You can use also the word average. Like if you are average or below average or above average as well but I prefer median, since median is more accurate.

Like for example, the median income in the United state is around $32,000 per years.

If you make around that amount of money then you are median.

If you make way above that amount of money then you are doing better than most people.

If you are making way lower than that amount of money then you are doing worse than most people.

That’s it.

Take a calculated risk.

Now, start and adjust as you go.
