Brokers vs real Brokers

A broker is an platform or firm or individual that acts as an intermediary between a security exchange and an investor. New kind of non traditional brokers are some silicon valley finance companies. Also there are some new platform such as M1 Finance, Robinhood and Webull.

On the other hand, Traditional brokers (real brokers) are places such as Fidelity, Schwab, TDA, Interactive brokers, TradeStation E-trade, Tasty trade, ect

I am not saying that real brokers are better than non-traditional brokers, Each brokers has different features. They compete each to attract customers.

This is what I currently like, M1 finance > TD Ameritrade > Webull >Robinhood in that order.

This might change as time passes because at the end of the day, they are just platforms, they can do some shenanigan at any time and change their features or policies.

Note:

Silicon valley is a place in norther California that serves as a global center for high tech and innovation.
