Have you ever thought if past you did the correct thing in a certain way, present you would be better off? or have present you even done something pleasurable but not beneficial, knowing that future you will have to deal with the consequence? If the answer is yes, That’s what this post is about. We are going to go over how to improve your life in 24 hours.

Present you is the person that is engaged here and now. Is the person the live in the present. Is the person that have awareness. Is the person that have the ability to think about the past you. Is the person that have the ability to estimate a possible future you.

Present you is also the accumulation of past you experiences. Is the accumulation of past you choices.

Have present you even being having a lot fun knowing that there will be bad consequence and someone else advice present you that the outcome of your current activity is going to be detrimental.

Present you trying to be clever may reply by saying that’s a problem for future you! Present you is glad is not future you.

We tend to wish that past you could have done better and yet we tend not to do much for future you.

Future you eventually will be present you!

Present you tend to blame past you and screw future. Not paying attention that future you eventually will be present you.

Don’t make the same mistake past you did. Is now time to invest in future you. Present you can’t change the past but present you can change the estimated future.

How to improve your life in 24 hours

is hard for us to think and plan far in the future. That’s probably why we tend to think that future you will take care of that.

So, let’s try to think in shorter intervals.

A day have 24 hours. There are certain things that you can complete in 24 hours. Completing these task will make you feel like you making progress. This will also help future you. Which in reality will become present you.

You can get the compound effect by doing these every day. The compound effect is when a small activity have big benefits in the long run.

There are 3 areas of our life that almost everybody will like to be well off. These areas are wealth, health and relationship

Let’s look at Health

In a day, we can do certain things that will improve your health.

You can drink 2 glasses of water when you wake. In a year that’s about 730 glasses of water. Your body will better off with 730 glass of water than 730 sodas.

You can do some type of physical activities everyday. When you wake up, you can take a few minutes to do some type of physical activity such as stretch, calisthenics, yoga. It could be any type of exercise even if is just 2 minutes. In a year that’s 730 minutes of exercise that your body would have not gotten.

Eating one cup of greens with your regular food. In a year that’s 365 cup of greens that you will not have eating otherwise.

Meditating for 2 minutes everyday. that’s 730 minutes per years in meditation.

If you take showers with warm water everyday, how about ending with cold water. Just a few seconds of cold water have massive benefit to the body in a year.

Making up your bed after you wake up or doing the dishes right after you eat. Small and simple activities can help you body and it can have a positive effect in other areas of your life.

I hope you are getting the point, even small things done everyday in a long period of time have massive benefits because of the compound effect.

So, invest in future you by making present you do small beneficial things. Remember, future you will eventually be present you.
